Chapter Four

Sam and Billy seem to have very different opinions and feelings about Harold.  Why do you think that is?

  1. Because Sam is older so he is more used to slavery .

  3. I think that since Billy is a little younger than Sam I think he doesn't understand slavery as much.

  4. I don't think Sam knows Harold very much so he doesn't have a strong opinion.

  5. I think because Sam doesn't think Billy understands Harold's experience, heritage, and past life.

  6. But maybe Sam could have told Billy of what Sam knows of slavery.

  7. I think Sam has different feelings about Herold because of his back round of being a slave,but Billy thinks differently because he knows more about Herold and how he lives.Billy also found out beside his back round he is a good person!
