Chapter Eleven
Why do you think Harold remains a topic of conversation and disagreement for Sam and Billy? Explain yourself fully.
I mean that Sam and Billy continue to debate about Harold, as they did again in this chapter on pages 75 and 76. Why do they do this, long after they left Harold behind?
I think it is because they have different opinions about Harold. I know this because Sam is always doubting Harold and Billy is always trying to defend him. Like when Billy said, "Harold would like this." and then Sam said, " No he wouldn't, he would think it is too wild and too cold. He is a slave."
I think they still debate about Harold because they have different perspectives about Harold.And Billy was friends with Harold so that is why he is always defending Harold,when Sam knows not a lot about Harold .As an example when Billy said,"Harold would like this."Then right after Sam said,"No he wouldn't,he would think it is too wild and too cold.He is a slave."

ReplyDeleteI think because Billy knows Sam is mad that Billy was teaching an ex slave.
