Chapter Five
Were you surprised that Grandpa and Grandma were not accompanying the rest of the family on the journey west? Why do you think they were not going? Please explain why you think what you do.
I wasn't surprised that Grandma and Grandpa didn't go because they were protesting on going to The Dakota Territory. I can tell this because earlier in the book they were saying things like, "We can make ourselves at home right here."
Yes,i was suprised that they were not going.I think that grandma and grandpa are not going with the rest of the family because grandpa likes it there in Kentucky and he dose not want to move.I also think grandpa must have some good memories at where he lives at right know!
I wasn't surprised that they wouldn't leave to go west because grandma and grandpa were talking about not going when pa was talking about going
ReplyDeleteGrandma and grandpa didn't seem to like the idea of going west.
