Chapter Twelve
On page 80, Sam new that Pa was successful in obtaining the land even before he met up with him. How did he know, and how do you know that this is how he knew?
Sam knew that they owned the land because he saw the plow in the cart. I know this is how he knew because he said that Pa wouldn't get a plow if the property was not there's.
Sam know they owned the land because Sam seen something in the back of the wagon.And if Pa didn't get the land he wouldn't have anything in the back of the wagon!
Sam knew that he owned the land because the sun glinted on something in the back of the wagon. I knew they got the land because Pa was swinging his hat hootin and hollarin.
Billy knew they owned the land because he saw the sun reflect off the plow for the sod house.
