I think it is because Sam says that his family does everything the same, always.

ReplyDeleteThat people aren't always the same all the time. He is really saying that people might change sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I think not that people will change, just that they will do something different.
ReplyDeleteI think because Harold was an ex slave maybe because his slave owner would have him do something different every day.
ReplyDeletei think that because everyday Sam thinks it is the same ,so Billy must have told Sam that to see how he would feel when something changes.
