Chapter Eighteen
At the end of this chapter, Sam said, "I felt at home, for the first time." What factors do you think caused him to feel this way?
He hasn't really been happy since he moved in.Now that he is celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends, it feels like he is back in Kentucky.
That the whole trip and the whole time that they were in the Dakota Territory Sam never felt at home. I also think that he said this because he was surrounded by friends and family.
Sam hasn't really been very happy since he moved to the Dakota Territory because Sam never felt at home and at the end of this chapter Sam felt at home a little bit more because he was surrounded by people that love him and care about him.
He had friends and family all together celebrating the 4th of July.
