Chapter Twenty-five
Why do you think Pa never said another word to Sam about the letter he wrote to Grandpa asking to borrow money?
Because Pa thinks that he can do something by his self and he dose not want to fell like a charity or anything like that. And Pa really would have gotten mad at the that of borrowing money from Grandpa!
I think they didn't talk about the money because I don't think Pa really used the money and he didn't want Sam finding out in any way possible. Sam would have gotten mad if he found out that Pa never used the money.
I think Pa didn't talk to Sam about the money because Pa was upset with Sam about asking for the money. I believe this because Pa constantly said that they could earn the money by themselves.

ReplyDeleteI think because when Sam got the money the Grants were leaving and Pa was sad and he didn't feel like yelling or arguing at Sam.
