Why do you think the Grants would not accept the money from the Whites?

  1. I think that the Grants would not accept the money from the Whites because,maybe the Grants didn't like to take money from other people because they didn't want anyone to go out of the way to give them money and that person might need the money in the future.

  2. I think that the Grants wouldn't accept the money from the Whites because they might think it was greedy. Or because they had made their final desision about leaving, and the Whites were definitely staying and they thought the Whites would need the money in the future.

  3. I think the Grants wouldn't take the money because they were all ready to go and maybe they contacted somebody and told them they were on their way. Or maybe because they said they would be coming back or because they didn't want to do the work to fix the house and replant.

  4. I think the Grants didn't accept the money because they had already decided that they were going to earn the money by their selves. I also know that they decided that they were going to move out and earn money until they had enough money to move back. Then they would move back.
