Chapter Twenty-two
Explain how you feel about the decision Pa made and why you think he made it.
If you mean the one about staying, I think it was because the bank gave him a loan for farming. He could have also changed his mind because he agreed with Sam,they shouldn't put all of that work to waste. They worked hard on a house, a farm and a stable for Ham and Duke
I think that Pa made a good decision by choosing to stay in the Dakotas because if they didn't they would have grown crops, built a sod house, and re-planted crops for nothing.
I think because they had a lone from the bank and Grandpa sent them money and maybe Ham and Duke weren't fully rested from the trip from Kentucky to the Dakotas and maybe because Sam made a deal with Grandpa to pay him back in 5 years so they would've had to hold on to it for 5 years and they probably wouldve spent the money and they might not have the $50 in 5 years.
